What is Ars Vitae?
Are Vitae, the "Art of Living," Cicero's term for philosophy--meets monthly at a local brewery to explore some of the best thinking and writing of the Western canon, mainly through mythos/story and logos/reasoning. Authors covered so far: Homer, Euclid, Plato, Aristotle, Augustine, Dante. Discussing each work in relation to contemporary culture and Christianity, we seek to cultivate, through fellowship, attentiveness to goodness, truth, and beauty.
